So this throws me for a loop since the 4 pin can only connect orange and red. I did notice on the 7 Pin in park - White red connected. So Red to Orange wireħ Pin Ign - White obviously goes to Red 4 pin since they both come from battery Positive and feed the other wires in ignitionħ Pin Ign - remainders go to Brown 4 pin. Best I can figure, on the 4 pin Ign, the tail light is separate so in the 3rd key position battery feeds the lights only (parking lights/tail light).ħ Pin Ign - Brown seems to feed everything (headlight, Reg/Rec, Stop/Start) so that should go to Black of 4 pin, since black seems to feed everything.ħ Pin Ign - Red and White are connected in PARK and 4 PIN Red and Orange are connected. Then the brown feeds headlight, stop/start switch, reg/rec, etc. My main question is why there are separate wires for the tail light (orange wire) on the honda ignition, and on my ignition there are 3 different wires that feed the turn signals (W/G), license plate lights (Red), and brake light (Blue). Find the starting solenoid and attach it to the positive side of the battery. Attach the red (+) clamp to the positive terminal of the ignition coil. You just need to connect to locate the ignition coil and battery. Check that both cars are totally turned off. Black goes to everything that needs power - tail light oil light, turn signal buzzer, headlight, some of the handle bar switches.Īs I figure this out I am editing this until someone replies. Park the automobiles near together but not touch them. Brown goes to the speedometer lights, and handle bar switches. Orange only seems to feed the rear tail light. On my 4 pin ignition I believe the wiring is as follows:īlack IG All black wires- all feeding 12Vįrom the wiring diagram Ive found RED is the main power and would correlate with my WHT wire. When the Ignition is ON the following are connected - Red and Blue, W/Grn and W/Blk, White and Brown, and Grey to ignition. My current 7 wires are - White (Power to ignition), Brown (hot from ignition to fuse in ON), Grey (signal with inline resistor for security to computer), Red (hot to lights in ON), Blue (hot to lights in ON), Wht/GRN (lights acc), Wht/Blk (power to ignition). My bikes ignition is currently a 7 wire ignition switch and I need to wire it into a 4 wire switch. So i will be fitting an older 4 pin ignition from another bike to it. My problem is fitting the verses ignition into place. I have exhausted my knowledge at this point and am praying someone knows something i dont.2012 650 Versys, In my previous post you'll see the bike was in an accident and I got it for cheap and swapped the front end from a CBR929. Not surr why there is 10v instead of 6 on grey wire unless that is ok. Please if anyone has any ideas let me know. I have to be out of my house in 12 days and I need to get it going. I get code 15 but that sensor is currently broken on the bike and it shouldnt prevent it from having spark. With fuel pump connected ecu primes so assuming its not the tip sensor. It is usually used in emergency situations where the key is not available. ![]() A wiring diagram kawasaki ignition switch bypass is a device that allows the engine to be started without the key. Continuity from switch to ecu at grey wire. Wiring Diagram Kawasaki Ignition Switch Bypass. Soldered the grey wire directly to the brown on ignition switch with a 100 ohm 2 watt resistor. The next item I'm looking at is removing the. Thanks heaps to everyone who has put this info up. I've been reading posts on this site and found some really helpful DIY info - ABS delete, PAIR Delete, Purge valve delete, etc. So far I have jumped out the kickstand switch, clutch switch, grounded neutral switch and bike is in neutral. Hi All, I'm in the process of setting up a Ninja 400 as a race bike for my son. While the paint is fully curing i am trying to get her to thump on starter fluid.
